How to get WayForPay keys
If WayForPay answers «API Not Allowed», ask WayForPay support (support@wayforpay.com) to enable the transaction list API (TRANSACTION_LIST) for your shop.
- In finiq, open “Integrations” → “Registers, CRM & payments”, find the WayForPay card and click “Connect”.
- Sign in to your WayForPay cabinet and open the shop settings.
- Copy the shop login (merchant login, also called merchantAccount) and the secret key (SecretKey).
- Paste them below. finiq only reads the transaction list and changes nothing in the shop.
- Click “Check and continue”: finiq checks the access and shows the accounts.
- For each account, choose “New account”, “Existing account” or “Do not sync”.
- In “Load history for”, choose the number of months and click “Start syncing”. Transactions appear gradually.
Good to know
- Paid orders come in as income at the full amount with a revenue category, the WayForPay fee as a separate expense, refunds as expenses dated when they were made. Holds, orders in processing or under review, declined and expired ones are not imported.
- Each currency of the shop is an account of its own, of the «E-wallet» type: money the service holds until it pays out. The service's API does not report payouts to your bank account, so mark the deposits from it in your connected bank as transfers from this account — easiest with an auto-rule «Purpose contains …» → «Transfer». Otherwise the revenue is counted twice.
- A cash register, CRM or payment service connects with an access key: order payments and sales become operations automatically every 30 minutes, buyers become counterparties, and auto-rules work just as for banks. The key is stored encrypted.
- The key is encrypted and never shown in full; disconnecting the integration deletes it.
Who can do this. The owner, admins and financiers connect cash registers, CRMs and payment services.
