How to import a file
- In finiq, open “Integrations” → “File import”.
- Upload a statement: CSV or XLSX from a bank or another app, up to 5 MB and 10,000 rows. Save old XLS files as XLSX.
- At the “Columns” step, choose the account to import into. Say above each column what it holds. Date and amount (or separate inflow and outflow) are required. To skip matching the columns next time, click “Save as a template”.
- At the “Preview” step, check the rows and click the import button. Duplicates are operations already on this account (same date, amount and purpose). They are skipped; tick the ones to import anyway.
Good to know
- Import history: Rolling back deletes only this import's operations; counterparties it created stay.
Who can do this. Import is available to the owner, admins and financiers.
